This section covers the handling of dedicated functions like configuration restore.

The “Upload Configuration” will save the configuration previously downloaded via “Save Configuration” in a folder called staging_conf in the working directory (from where the IOL Connect Manager has been started). Then the application wil exit. When restarted, the IOL Connect Manager looks for the staging_conf content and writes this to the active configuration. The restart process can either be done manually or by putting the IOL Connect Manager in a loop (as shell script).

The “Restore Factory Defaults” will delete any user configuration and replace it with factory default settings, except for the IP settings.
