**IOL Connect Manager **software is a middle ware that connects IOL HAT to Node-RED and offers a web interface with to configure and test IO-Link devices. If also features an interface to a A SQLite database. Alternatively the **IOL Connect Manager **provides the IO-Link data via the Ethernet interface using JSON.

The core functions of the IOL Connect Manager are the same as for the interface of the Pinebox. Please refer to the Pinebox manual: Pinebox Manual

Please note:

• Node-RED needs to be installed separately on the Raspberry Pi
• For SQLite functions in Node-RED (read and write of data), the SQLite nodes need to be installed in Node-RED with the Palette Manager. The SQLite database is located in relative to the IOL Connect manager in sqlite/database.db
• There is no SQLite viewer included with the IOL Connect Manager. An SQL viewer needs to be installed separately by the user if required.
